Step-by-Step USB Flashing Guide

1.Prepare USB Media :

Formating USB flash drive.

Format a standard USB 2.0 or 3.0 flash drive (8GB–32GB recommended) to FAT32.

2.Unpack Firmware Package :

Maintaining exact directory structure.

Download the zip file vuplus-image-vuzero4k-20230613154111_usb.zip and extract its contents directly to the root directory of the USB drive. Ensure the resulting path on the USB drive is:

USB:\vuplus\zero4k\ containing files such as rootfs.tar.bz2, kernel_auto.bin, and initrd_auto.bin.

3.Flash the Receiver :

Executing the bootloader update.

  1. Turn OFF the Vu+ Zero 4K using the rear power switch.

  2. Insert the prepared USB drive into the rear USB port.

  3. Turn ON the receiver using the rear power switch.

  4. Watch the front panel Touch Power Button LED: when it starts pulsing/fading, press the Touch Button on the front panel once to initiate flashing.

  5. The LED will pulse rapidly while flashing. Wait until it finishes and reboots automatically.
