Step-by-Step USB Flashing Guide

1.Prepare USB Flash Drive :

Prepares flash drive for bootloader recognition.

Format a USB flash drive (16GB or smaller recommended) to FAT32.

 

2.Extract Image to USB :Preserves required folder hierarchy.

Download the backup zip archive and extract it directly to the root of your USB drive. Ensure the folder structure on the drive is:

USB:\vuplus\uno4k\ containing files such as rootfs.tar.bz2 and initrd.bin.

 

3.Flash Image via USB :

Executes firmware upgrade via receiver front panel.

1. Turn OFF the Vu+ Uno 4K using the rear power switch.

2. Insert the USB drive into the side USB port.

3. Power ON the receiver using the rear power switch.

4. When the front LED button pulses/blinks, press the Front Touch Power Button to initiate flashing.

 

4.Reboot & FTP Login Access :

Connect via FTP/SSH after reboot.

Wait until the receiver finishes flashing and reboots automatically. Access the system filesystem via FTP (FileZilla or WinSCP) using:

• Username: root

• Password: globalsat.com.pl
