Aglare FHD Skin v1.1 by MNASR for Enigma2: Update & Features Guide

Aglare FHD v1.1 is a clean, modern Full HD (1080p) user interface skin created by MNASR for Enigma2 Linux satellite receivers. Built specifically to integrate with the PosterX movie poster rendering engine, version 1.1 delivers critical code cleanup, screen fixes, and unified system converters to ensure smooth menu and infobar performance.

 

What's New in Version 1.1 (Changelog)

• Code & File Cleanup: Removed unnecessary system files to reduce the skin package size and improve overall execution speed.

• Screen Fixes: Corrected visual bugs and layout alignment across several Enigma2 UI screens.

• Unified Converter Engine: Renamed and reorganized all renderers and converters to the unified Aglarexxxxxx naming convention to prevent crashes and file conflicts with other installed skins.

• PosterX Integration: Maintained exclusive, optimized support for PosterX (Special thanks to Lululla for PosterX renderer enhancements and Madhouse for technical support).

 

Supported Images & Compatibility

To ensure maximum system stability and prevent system crash loops, Aglare FHD v1.1 strictly supports four specific OE-Alliance image builds:

Note: Installing this skin on unsupported image versions or distributions may result in a system GUI crash loop (Green Screen) due to custom converter dependencies.

 

Quick Installation Guide

1.Ensure PosterX Dependency is Active :

Required for movie and EPG poster rendering.

Before installing Aglare FHD, make sure the PosterX renderer plugin is installed and running on your image.

 

2.Upload Package to /tmp/ :

Transfers IPK installer to receiver memory.

Transfer the enigma2-plugin-skins-aglare-fhd_1.1_all.ipk file to the /tmp/ folder on your receiver using FTP (FileZilla or WinSCP).

 

3.Install via Terminal / Console :

Executes skin installer via SSH terminal.

Connect via SSH/Telnet (PuTTY) and execute the installation command:

opkg update
opkg install --force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

 

 

4.Activate Skin & Restart GUI :

Applies new graphical skin interface.

1. Go to Menu > Setup > Usage & GUI > Skin Setup.

2. Select Aglare FHD.

3. Press OK and confirm the prompt to restart the Enigma2 User Interface.
