The Astra 19.2°E Picon Package (August 2026 Update) provides high-definition, 32-bit transparent channel logos tailored for Enigma2 receivers. Designed at 300x130 pixels, these picons offer sharp, high-contrast visual display across all modern Full HD and 4K skin interfaces (including MetrixHD, OpenVision, Estuary, and KravenHD).

Compatible with all Enigma2 distributions including OpenATV, OpenPLi, OpenBH, VTi, EGAMI, PurE2, and Dreambox OS.

Installation Guide

1.Unpack Downloaded Archive :

Extracts archive to local system.

Download and extract the .tar.gz or .zip file on your PC to reveal the picon folder containing all PNG image files.

2.Transfer Picons via FTP :

Transfers picons to Enigma2 system storage.

Connect to your receiver using FTP (FileZilla or WinSCP) and upload the picon folder to one of the following recommended Enigma2 paths:

• Internal Flash (Recommended for fast load times): /usr/share/enigma2/picon/

• USB Drive / Hard Drive Mount: /media/usb/picon/ or /media/hdd/picon/

3.Set File Permissions :

Ensures correct file reading access.

Select the uploaded picon directory in your FTP client and set permissions to 755 (for directories) and 644 (for PNG files).

4.Restart Enigma2 GUI :

Forces skin engine to refresh channel graphics.

Press Menu > Standby / Restart > Restart User Interface to reload picons into your skin's infobar memory.
