OSCam v11966 is available for all Enigma2 hardware architectures (ARM, MIPS, ARM64) and firmware distributions. This update provides optimized IPK packages for OE-Alliance images and dedicated DEB packages for official Dreambox OS images, delivering fast zapping times, low memory consumption, and enhanced stability across all softcam protocols.

Quick Installation Guide

1.Upload Package to /tmp/ :

Selects correct package format for your receiver.

1. Transfer the .ipk file (for Vu+, Octagon, Zgemma, etc.) or .deb file (for Dreambox OS) to the /tmp/ directory on your receiver using FTP (FileZilla or WinSCP).

2.Install Package via Terminal :

Executes installer command via SSH.

Connect via SSH/Telnet (PuTTY) and execute the matching command:

• For IPK Images (OpenATV, OpenPLi, EGAMI, etc.):

opkg update
opkg install --force-overwrite /tmp/*.ipk

 

• For DEB Images (Newnigma2, Dream Elite, GP4, etc.):

dpkg -i /tmp/*.deb
apt-get install -f -y

 

3.Upload Config Files :

Required for server connection.

Transfer your oscam.server, oscam.conf, and oscam.user files to /etc/tuxbox/config/ (or /etc/tuxbox/config/oscam/).

4.Start OSCam :

Activates softcam service.

Navigate to your image's Softcam Panel, select OSCam 11966, and press Green (Start/Restart).
