  • Coverage: Astra 19.2°E, Hotbird 13.0°E, Eutelsat 7°W / 8°W (Nilesat)

  • Compatibility: All Enigma2 images (OpenATV, OpenPLi, OpenBH, EGAMI, VTi, BlackHole)

 

📁 Where to Upload Picons

Connect to your satellite receiver using FTP (FileZilla or DCC) and transfer the unzipped picon folder to one of the following paths:

  • Internal Memory (Flash): /usr/share/enigma2/picon/

  • USB Drive (Recommended): /media/usb/picon/

  • Hard Drive (HDD): /media/hdd/picon/

(Note: Storing picons on a USB drive or HDD saves internal flash memory and prevents slow boot times.)

 

⚙️ How to Enable Picons in Your Channel List

  1. Open Menu $\rightarrow$ Setup $\rightarrow$ GUI Settings $\rightarrow$ User Interface.

  2. Set User Mode to Expert.

  3. Enable Show Picons in Channel Selection List.

  4. Restart your Enigma2 GUI.
